Who, and what is, Indie-cent Exposure?

Indie-cent Exposure is exactly what it sounds like: a site shamelessly showing off all things indie.

That mainly means games, because let’s be honest, that’s where our hearts usually are. But we’re not putting ourselves in a tiny little genre-shaped box and calling it a day. If an independent film deserves the spotlight, we’ll talk about it. If an up-and-coming band drops something special, we’re interested. If there’s a small restaurant, bar, event, or odd little hidden gem worth shouting about, that could end up here, too.

Basically, if it’s indie and it catches our eye, there’s a good chance we’ll want to drag it into the light.

Why we started Indie-cent Exposure

We started Indie-cent Exposure because we wanted a place that felt honest, fun, and free from the usual fluff. No pretending everything is amazing. No dressing up a middling experience with fancy words and empty hype. And no lifeless, paint-by-numbers coverage that says a lot without really saying anything.

We like personality. We like passion. We like finding things that surprise us. But more than anything, we like being honest about what we think.

That means when something is brilliant, we’ll happily shout about it. When something has good ideas but doesn’t quite stick the landing, we’ll say that too. And when something really should have stayed hidden, well, we’re not going to blush and look away.

We’re not here to hand out soulless scores and act important about it either. Indie-cent Exposure does things a little differently. Our reviews use verdicts that actually sound like us, because this site is meant to feel human. A little cheeky, a little blunt, and hopefully a lot more memorable than another seven-out-of-10 disappearing into the void.

At its core, Indie-cent Exposure is about spotlighting creativity, ambition, and the weird little things that make independent projects interesting in the first place. Sometimes that means celebrating a future classic. Sometimes it means digging into something messy but fascinating. Sometimes it means asking how on earth something got made in the first place.

All of that is part of the fun.

Who runs Indie-cent Exposure?

We’re co-owned, independently minded, and built on the idea that good coverage does not need to be stiff to be smart. You can be thoughtful without being boring. You can be critical without being cruel. And you can absolutely have a laugh while still getting to the heart of what makes something worth your time.

So whether you’re here for honest reviews, early impressions, opinion pieces, or the occasional trip beyond games, welcome.

You’ve just exposed yourself to Indie-cent Exposure.
